Welcome to the Next Chapter of My Tarot Journey
Hello, everyone! My name is Emily-Rose Leclerc, and I am thrilled to welcome you to my blog. I have been an avid Tarot reader since my early teens. I received my first oracle deck at the age of 12 and my first Tarot deck shortly after. From the very beginning, I was drawn to my Tarot deck over my oracle deck. the imagery spoke to me in a way my oracle deck never did. I love the way they portray a story as you read them and I love how every card, is part of a cohesive whole. Over the past years, I have been deeply immersed in the art of tarot reading, a practice that has become an integral part of my life. For me reading Tarot is a way for the universe to communicate with us. I believe that we are the vessel through which the universe experiences itself. As such all the answers we seek are already within our subconscious. All we need is a way to access those answers, and while there are many ways to do this Tarot is my preferred method. Through this blog, I hope to share my experiences, insights, and the extensive knowledge I have accumulated about tarot cards as I dive into the next Chapter of my Tarot journey; Teaching!
For now here are some tarot-related facts about me:
My Favorite Tarot Deck
Throughout my journey, I have explored various tarot decks, but the one that resonates with me the most is the True Black Tarot deck. This deck’s striking imagery has always evoked a strong connection with me. The contrast between the pitch black background and the white/gray imagery with pops of color only when necessary has always captivated me, and I find that its symbolism speaks to me on a deeply profound level. Each card in this deck tells a unique story. Loosely based on the Raider-Smith-Waite deck I have always found this deck easy to read and connect to and I am excited to delve into these stories with you in future posts.
The Hermit Card: A Personal Favorite
Out of all the cards in the tarot deck, my favorite is the Hermit card. This card embodies introspection, wisdom, and the search for inner truth. Whenever the Hermit appears in a reading, it serves as a reminder to take a step back and reflect on one’s inner journey. For me, the Hermit card represents a guiding light, encouraging us to seek knowledge from within and trust our inner guidance. He is the humble seeker, who has managed to transform his experiences into wisdom but still understands that despite his knowledge he is still learning. He represents the wisdom to know you don’t know anything and the willingness to learn.
Thank you for joining me on this journey. I am excited to share more about tarot reading, card interpretations, and personal anecdotes in future posts. Stay tuned for more insights and discussions on the fascinating world of tarot!
